Just 15mins south of downtown Spokane, Wa but a world away! We are a Unique Western Barn Bnb at Spokane Trail Rides Ranch. Once a Historical Thoroughbred Racing Ranch formally known as "Grandview Stables". Because there ARE Views all around of Mtns and Valleys. The ranch is a fun laid back place with many different adventurous activities such as 2 hour private Trail Rides on Giant Draft Horses! Roam the entire ranch see over 150 different animals & Horses. Go visit the "Mini Herd' it has many small farm animals including Miniature Cattle, Miniature Goats, Alpaca, mini Horses, Donkeys and Mules. Our herds of horses you will find are truly beautiful, we have a huge range from Blue Roan Percherons, Primitive Duns QH's, Palomino Morgan's, Paso Fino's, with Colors & Dapples galore! Most ALL of Jen's herd were Rescue Rehabs she saved and gave amazing new life to. She Rescues animals and usually a dozen horses' a year on her own then Rehabs & Trains using Natural Horsemanship Methods. The ranch also has free range rabbits, Chickens, Great Pyrenees Ranch Guardians, Kitties and MORE! You will see, hear and maybe even smell many animals! It is a real ranch! Dirt Dust and all......
3 Stall Rooms: Owner Jen opened 3 Horse Stall rooms have been Converted into a one of a kind very "Western" Cozy feeling rooms. Its inside a REAL working Barn with 36 stalls! Its Rustic but nice.... Each room has Comfy and Pretty Queen Beds with beautiful headboards, Very Clean Rooms with Nice quality linens, Chairs & ottoman, Some One of a kind & antique furniture, every rooms unique and Stylishly decorated with items Jen had collected over the years, "Rusty Gold" items, rustic framed Art, Old Farm House Windows installed, Hard to find books, games to play, hooks for hanging your coats, all stalls have a lock, 2 small heaters and extra blankets provided too. Its insulated and is made with "old" growth lumber so when its quiet at night its extra quiet holds in sound. Peaceful Rooms.
Community Room: Is directly across from the stall rooms behind the 'Blue" door. Another fun rustic barn space, shared with other guests and ranch clients. Its also cute & western stylishly decorated! Jen's photography is on the walls, Velvet Art work, Paintings and antiques. You'll Find array of misc goodies & snacks, basic kitchenette needs: coffee maker, hot coco, teas, microwave, mini fridge stocked with water, Toaster Oven, paper plates, plastic wears, cups and much more for you! Little desk sign in with BnB Guest sign in release (everyone signs a release working ranch). Help yourself but please clean up after yourself.
Bathroom/Shower: back right corner of community room is the door to the bathroom/shower. We have a hair dryer, shower basics, extra towels too. Shower is a metal stall shower with Cute western Curtain... Its a "Barn" remember, a Cute "Barn". Be respectful of other guests & owners, please keep clean and tidy.
BnB means: Bed in Barn. We do not serve a breakfast but we have lots of goodies and snacks for you in the Community Room. Recommendation: Down the Road is a Superb Place called Chaps! Its a restaurant in a old Farm house that was moved there! Bakery, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner just North of the ranch 6 miles is on 195 Exit: Spokane/Cheney Rd. Its next to Yokes Grocery store which also is a great stop for any of your basic shopping needs.
